We can advise on options for funding property purchase and for property investment, including taxation advice. Our advice in this area is fully independent and at all times regulated by the Financial Services Authority.
We are members of the lending panels of most of the major mortgage lenders. Following completion of property purchase we deal with all legal requirements for ensuring that the purchaser’s title is properly registered in the National Registers of Scotland together with associated mortgage documents.
For property sales we complement our estate agency service with extensive experience in sale conveyancing, and advise clients on contracts for sale/purchase (commonly known as “missives”). As Solicitors we will deal with all necessary conveyancing formalities including instructing Land Register, Local Authority and Environmental Searches. As part of the conveyancing process we will deal with clearing any existing mortgage account.
For most people a property transaction is the biggest single transaction they will make and at Lows we believe that buyers and sellers both require the very highest standards of service at all times. We do not pretend we offer the cheapest conveyancing service but we firmly believe that, for the level of service we deliver, our charges are very reasonable.
