Jennifer Stevenson advises a wide range of farms, rural businesses, and commercial clients across Scotland. In addition to her agricultural expertise, she has significant experience in commercial legal matters, regularly supporting clients with commercial property transactions and broader business operations.

Jennifer has developed considerable expertise in the purchase and sale of farms and land, as well as property development, diversification projects, and renewable energy transactions. Her legal knowledge is complemented by a strong commercial awareness, enabling her to offer pragmatic, business-focused advice.

Her clients value her proactive approach and problem-solving skills, which help drive complex transactions forward efficiently. Jennifer’s insight into both the legal and commercial challenges facing rural and business enterprises allows her to provide practical, tailored guidance.

She is known for building strong client relationships through her collaborative style and dependable advice throughout every stage of a transaction.

Jennifer is a member of the Agricultural Law Association.

She became a Director at Lows in 2024, further cementing her leadership within the firm. Originally from a family farm in Orkney, Jennifer remains closely connected to the rural community. She graduated with First Class Honours in Law LLB, followed by a Distinction in her Diploma in Legal Practice. Prior to returning to Orkney, she gained valuable legal experience at Raeburn Christie Clark and Wallace, and later at Brodies LLP in Aberdeen.
